Meet Dr. Berube

dr berubeDr. Berube received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and his dental degree from Emory University. Dr. Berube went on to complete his general practice residency at Rhode Island Hospital in association with Brown University School of Medicine and his oral and maxillofacial surgical training at Yale-New Haven Hospital – Saint Raphael Campus in association with the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Berube served as Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1991 – 1992.

Dr. Berube is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Serving on the MDA Executive Board, he is currently Vice-President of the Maine Dental Association. Dr. Berube also serves on the MDA Council on Ethics and is the Chairman of the Council on Governmental Affairs. Dr. Berube serves as President of the Maine Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Berube has been awarded Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. In 2012 Dr. Berube was awarded the MDA President’s Award for legislative initiatives.

Dr. Berube also serves on the Board of Directors of several civic and professional associations. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support and is a member of the Department of Surgery at Maine General Medical Center.
